Occupational Therapist Manager

Schoen Clinic Newbridge is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for managing a defined caseload of young people with eating disorders, utilizing evidence-based and client-centered principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
Main Responsibilities- Lead the Occupational Therapy team to ensure effective and high-quality delivery of the group program, individual patient, and family support.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Occupational Therapy Pathway at Newbridge House.
- Collaborate with patients to identify occupational therapy goals as part of the overall care plan.
- Plan and implement individual and/or group interventions, utilizing graded activity to achieve therapeutic goals.
- Monitor and evaluate treatment to measure progress and ensure effectiveness of the intervention.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date electronic records and activity data are maintained in accordance with professional and Newbridge House policy.
- Delegate work as appropriate to the Occupational Therapy team, monitor, review, and provide additional support and training as required.
- Provide clinical supervision to junior colleagues or delegate appropriately to experienced senior Occupational Therapists.
- Undertake annual appraisals with junior colleagues or delegate appropriately to experienced senior Occupational Therapists.
- Exercise a personal duty of care for the use of resources, clinical, and educational materials.
- Oversee the use of and recording of the OT budget.
