Occupational Therapist Manager

Schoen Clinic Newbridge is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for managing a defined caseload of young people with eating disorders, utilizing evidence-based and client-centered principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
Main Responsibilities- Lead the Occupational Therapy team to ensure effective and high-quality delivery of the group program, individual patient, and family support.
- Ensure familiarity with the Occupational Therapy Pathway at Newbridge House.
- Supervise and support the development of junior Occupational Therapists.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating graded activity to achieve therapeutic goals.
- Monitor and evaluate treatment progress, ensuring the effectiveness of interventions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic records and activity data, adhering to professional and Newbridge House policies.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to the Occupational Therapy team, providing guidance and support as needed.

Requirements- Experience working as a Senior Occupational Therapist in mental health and/or CAMHS.
- Experience as a clinical supervisor.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- Knowledge of current best practice in occupational therapy for eating disorders.
- Ability to critically evaluate research and apply findings to practice.
- Understanding of Safeguarding legislation and its implications for practice.
- Understanding of national guidelines and legislation related to health and social care.
- Relevant specialist training in MOHO, EMPSA, Sensory Integration, or ADOS.
