We are seeking an experienced Gynaecology Ward Manager to join our team at South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strong visible leadership to all staff within the ward and across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance performance and ensure that staff training needs meet organisational objectives.
- Provide leadership for the implementation of quality initiatives such as Care Excellence Accreditation, PCI's, and Health roster KPI's.
- Ensure a strong team focus on high-quality, clinically effective healthcare that meets our patients' needs.
- Financial Management
- Secure effective resource allocation for ward activities and quality initiatives.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Integrated Care Pathways.
- Service Development
- Identify and contribute to Gynaecology and Early Pregnancy innovative service development ideas.
- Develop and implement ward-based accessible clinical supervision for all staff.
- Patient Safety
- Foster and embed a patient safety culture and participate in national and local patient safety work streams or campaigns.
- Develop and lead a team that seeks to actively resolve complaints/concerns at the local level.
