Job Overview
The successful candidate will deliver exceptional nursing care and contribute to the establishment of nursing practice standards within a collaborative multidisciplinary team across the Epsom and St Helier site.
This role will be fulfilled through effective leadership, visible clinical practice, education, training, and research initiatives. The individual will support the nursing lead for the department and manage daily operational challenges, escalating issues to the senior nurse as necessary. The role includes coordinating, facilitating, and supervising educational activities for both registered and non-registered nursing staff within the designated practice area, aiming to enhance patient experiences and care standards.
A strong commitment to personal development and direct clinical care within outpatient clinics is expected.
Main Responsibilities

St Helier Outpatients is a large, multi-specialty department encompassing various areas, providing services across most surgical and medical specialties for adult patients.

Flexibility in working hours is required, including evening and weekend shifts, and the potential to work across different departments within the Trust as needed.
