Job Overview

The role includes coordinating, facilitating, and supervising educational activities for both registered and non-registered nursing staff within the designated practice area, aiming to enhance patient experiences and care standards.

A strong commitment to personal development and direct clinical care within outpatient clinics is expected.

Main Responsibilities

Band 6, Deputy Sister OPD. STH

St Helier Outpatients is a large, multi-specialty department encompassing various areas, providing services across most surgical and medical specialties for adult patients.

This pivotal role involves supporting senior management and the nursing team to facilitate a service that meets future demands, including change management, achieving performance and budgetary objectives, and staff development.

Flexibility in working hours is required, including evening and weekend shifts, and the potential to work across different departments within the Trust as needed.
