About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Data and Information Governance Support Officer to join our team at Digital Health and Care Wales (DHCW). As a key member of our Clinical Directorate, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and implementation of our information governance strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Information Governance team, including maintaining filing structures, completing gap analysis activities, and preparing routine and ad-hoc reports.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of Information Sharing Protocols within electronic systems.
  • Respond to team correspondence, including managing action point queries.
  • Support the team in monitoring the delivery of key milestones and updating team plans.
Requirements
  • Good level of educational attainment to diploma or equivalent experience.
  • BCS Certificate in Data Protection or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of administering in an office environment.
  • Good knowledge of computer skills, and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to master new applications.
