Data Quality Management Specialist

Proxima, a leading management consulting firm, is seeking a talented Data Specialist to join our team in Cardiff. As a Data Specialist, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients optimize their procurement strategy and reduce costs.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize data expertise to drive business value for clients across the procurement lifecycle.
- Develop effective data solutions for client and project teams, delivering high-quality output.
- Analyze complex client spend data to identify cost-saving and optimization opportunities.
- Create data visualization tools to bring client data to life and tell a compelling story.
- Collate, transform, and visualize client data to inform business decisions.
- Lead internal data projects to improve Proxima's data capability and offering to clients.
- Provide coaching and guidance to colleagues to ensure robust output quality.
- Build strong relationships with client engagement teams and the wider Proxima business.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel, SQL, and PowerBI to transform large datasets into visualized output.
- Able to quickly understand complex client data and advise on project direction.
- Able to carve out data requirements in a procurement setting and drive data projects to fruition.
- Enjoys bringing data to life and building a compelling story with data.
- Thrives under pressure and can manage multiple projects.
- A well-seasoned communicator and collaborator with a track record of building relationships and credibility.
- Experience of explaining data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in coaching, guiding, and mentoring colleagues.
