Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nursing Associate to join our team at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients in the Bevan intermediate care unit.

Main Responsibilities

As a Nursing Associate, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver planned care and achieve the highest standards of patient care. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing patient care and support in accordance with our trust's policies and procedures
  • Working effectively with patients, families, and carers to promote patient-centered care
  • Participating in reflective practice and clinical supervision activities to ensure high-quality care
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with colleagues and other healthcare professionals
  • Supporting and supervising nursing associate students and other learners as required

Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Nursing Associate level 4 qualification
  • Understanding of the scope of the role of the Nursing Associate in the context of the nursing and interdisciplinary team
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and carers
  • Ability to develop effective relationships with colleagues and other healthcare professionals
  • Ability to prioritize and manage your workload effectively
