Main Responsibilities

As a Nursing Associate, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide planned care and support to patients on Ward L5. Your duties will include:

  • Providing high-quality patient care and support
  • Working collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver effective care
  • Participating in reflective practice and clinical supervision activities
  • Developing effective relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Supporting and supervising nursing associate students and other learners

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ level 3 plus diploma (foundation degree)
  • NMC registration
  • Understanding of the scope of the role of the Nursing Associate and the importance of following procedures and treatment plans
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to develop effective relationships with people and teams
