Tersus Consultancy is on the lookout for a skilled Commercial Operations Leader to enhance our team. In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with managing the commercial functions of our operations.

As a prominent consultancy in risk and compliance, Tersus Consultancy is committed to providing exceptional services to our clients while nurturing a cooperative and innovative workplace.

The position offers a competitive salary of up to £45,000, along with a company vehicle or allowance, working 40 hours per week. Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Asbestos sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee contracts in accordance with client requirements and Tersus standards, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Initiate and manage new contracts and client relationships.
  • Assist regional managers with team and resource allocation.
  • Monitor labor costs to ensure adherence to budget.
  • Supervise daily operations, including staffing, payroll, invoicing, and performance reviews.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Manager to uphold UKAS accreditation standards.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Coordinate with other regions to guarantee effective contract execution.
  • Support complaint resolution processes.
  • Provide motivational leadership and inspire team performance.
  • Delegate responsibilities effectively, including succession planning.
  • Engage proactively with internal teams.
  • Identify new business prospects and represent Tersus at industry events.
  • Participate in management meetings and supply necessary information.
  • Assist in the integration of newly acquired businesses.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by senior management.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in people management and development.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting and financial oversight.
  • Proficient in IT applications.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication abilities.
  • Adaptability and willingness to travel as needed.
