Experienced Commercial Strategy Manager

Tersus Consultancy is on the lookout for a seasoned Commercial Operations Leader to enhance our team. In this pivotal role, you will take charge of managing the commercial activities within our operations.

The position offers a competitive salary of up to £45,000, along with a company vehicle or allowance, based on a 40-hour work week. Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Asbestos sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee contracts in accordance with client requirements and Tersus standards, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Initiate and mobilize new contracts and client relationships.
  • Assist regional managers with team and resource coordination.
  • Monitor labor costs to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Manage routine operations, including staffing, payroll, invoicing, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Manager to uphold UKAS accreditation standards.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Coordinate with other regions to guarantee effective contract servicing.
  • Support in the investigation of client complaints.
  • Provide motivational leadership and inspire team performance.
  • Delegate responsibilities effectively, including succession planning.
  • Engage proactively with internal teams.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, representing Tersus at industry events.
  • Participate in management meetings, providing essential insights.
  • Assist in the integration of newly acquired businesses.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by senior management.

  • Proven experience in people management and development.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting and financial controls.
  • Proficient in IT applications.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to adapt to work and travel requirements.
