Job Opportunity: Key Stage 2 Teacher

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Key Stage 2 teacher to join our team at a reputable primary school in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons to Key Stage 1 students, implementing the Primary Curriculum effectively, and utilizing Phonics, including Little Wandle Phonics, to support early literacy development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the needs of Key Stage 1 students
  • Implement the Primary Curriculum with a focus on Phonics and early literacy development
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience

Requirements:

  • PGCE qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Department for Education (DFE) recognition
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 students and strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional training in Phonics instruction
  • Experience working in a 2 Form Entry School
