Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Key Stage 2 teacher to join our team at a reputable primary school in Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, implementing the Primary Curriculum, and utilizing Phonics to support early literacy development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons to Key Stage 2 students
  • Implement the Primary Curriculum effectively, ensuring students meet their full potential
  • Utilize Phonics, including Little Wandle Phonics, to support early literacy development
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student well-being and engagement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience
Requirements
  • PGCE qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Department for Education (DFE) recognition
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Key Stage 2 students
  • Strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum
  • Effective classroom management skills and excellent communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional training in Phonics instruction
  • Experience working in a 2 Form Entry School
