Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our team at a reputable primary school in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.

Job Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging Key Stage 1 lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Implement the Primary Curriculum effectively, utilizing Phonics, including Little Wandle Phonics, to support early literacy development.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and social growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and promote a culture of excellence.
Requirements
  • PGCE qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) are essential.
  • Department for Education (DFE) recognition is also required.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Key Stage 1 students and strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum are necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional training in Phonics instruction is desirable.
  • Experience working in a 2 Form Entry School is also preferred.
