Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Primary School Teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Key Stage 1 lessons and implementing the Primary Curriculum effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Key Stage 1 lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Implement the Primary Curriculum in a way that promotes academic excellence and student growth.
  • Utilize Phonics instruction, including Little Wandle Phonics, to support early literacy development and enhance student outcomes.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents to promote academic achievement.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love of learning and promotes social-emotional growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and promote a culture of excellence.
Requirements
  • PGCE qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) are essential for this role.
  • Department for Education (DFE) recognition is also required.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Key Stage 1 students and a strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum are necessary for success in this position.
  • Effective classroom management skills and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are also essential.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional training in Phonics instruction can be beneficial for this role.
  • Experience working in a 2 Form Entry School can also be advantageous.
Working Conditions
  • This is a temporary position with the possibility of extension.
  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday, are required.
  • A collaborative and supportive school environment is essential for this role.
