Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender at Experimental Cocktail Club Chinatown, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing and serving high-quality cocktails, and maintaining a clean and organized bar environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and master our cocktail menu, including classic cocktails and signature drinks.
  • Prepare and serve cocktails with precision and attention to detail, using jiggers and clean bar tools.
  • Communicate effectively with servers and barbacks to ensure seamless service.
  • Participate in the creation of new cocktail recipes and menu development.
  • Assist in training and developing junior bartenders and barbacks.
  • Lead by example and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere during service.

Guest Relation

  • Greet and interact with guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Work closely with servers to ensure clients are seated, provided with menus, and thoroughly taken care of.
  • Take drink orders and make recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
  • Create a memorable experience for guests, assessing their needs and presenting the cocktail menu.

Cleanliness and Bar Operations

  • Responsible for the opening and closing of the bar, following our procedural list.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar environment, adhering to food and beverage safety regulations.
  • Apply all necessary safety and quality regulations during service.

Communication and Reporting

  • Communicate effectively with the Bar Manager regarding inventory issues, client comments, and general reporting.
  • Comply with all reasonable direction and requests from the Management Team.

About You

  • Experience in a similar role within a cocktail bar is essential.
  • Excellent spirits and classic cocktails knowledge is required.
  • Attention to detail and customer needs is crucial.
  • Social, engaging, and motivated, with excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility to respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations.
  • Knowledge of other languages is beneficial.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK is required.
