Position Overview
Assystem Energy & Infrastructure is looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. This role will involve working within the IT Supply Chain Team to develop and implement a comprehensive IT Supply Chain Strategy. Role Details:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and execute a tailored IT Supply Chain Strategy.
  • Collaborate with the newly established IT Digital Ecosystem to identify requirements and supplier challenges, leading to the formulation of a new Supply Chain Strategy.
  • Implement and finalize new Terms and Conditions and Framework agreements to standardize practices across the Group's inherited Supply Chain ecosystem and newly onboarded suppliers.
  • Work alongside other IT Buyers and IT Service Delivery Leads to standardize Contract Management across the IT Service Estate, ensuring that contractual SLAs are measurable and enforceable.
  • Negotiate new Service Descriptions and establish an 'Evergreen' operating model with current suppliers.
  • Lead the SAP v Coupa Work stream within IT to facilitate the transition for IT Buyers and Suppliers, enabling the implementation of Supplier Scorecards.
  • Support junior team members by providing coaching on processes and compliance.
  • Drive a transition in operational methodologies within the IT Function to mitigate risks associated with compliant competitions, while understanding the implications of early engagement without Supply Chain presence.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • BA degree or equivalent, or significant industry experience.
  • Preferably MCIPs qualified or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving results.
  • Familiarity with Defence Contracts.
  • Experience in building strategic relationships with suppliers and managing escalations between stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Proven expertise in contract management, including end-to-end tender processes.

Security Clearance: This position requires the candidate to hold a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any restrictions.
