Position Overview:
A permanent opportunity for a Procurement Performance Specialist that plays a crucial role in shaping procurement strategies, guiding team members, and delivering significant commercial outcomes.

This role offers a rewarding challenge within an organization dedicated to producing life-saving products, complemented by flexible working options.

You will become part of a well-established and financially sound company that is evaluating all operational aspects to implement a tailored structure that supports their expansion.

The procurement team is small yet highly skilled, and your expertise will be invaluable as they navigate the procurement landscape with the full backing of the Head of Procurement.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct supplier audits to validate cost structures
  • Negotiate enhanced terms, fostering successful partnerships
  • Oversee a £3 million budget across raw materials, services, and capital investments within a regulated sector.
Any savings achieved will be reinvested into the organization.

This position does not currently involve management responsibilities, but future opportunities may arise as the company achieves its objectives.

The organization is committed to supporting your onboarding process, ensuring it is sustainable and balanced.


What You Will Receive:
  • Competitive salary ranging from £36,000 to £42,000
  • Company bonus after completing one year of service

Candidate Profile:
  • Proven experience as a Buyer, Senior Buyer, or Purchasing Manager in a similar regulated environment, such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or specialty chemicals
  • Preference for a structured and systematic approach may not align with this role
  • Comprehensive understanding of procurement processes, including a holistic approach and tender management
  • Accountable with a collaborative mindset focused on continuous improvement
  • CIPS qualification or equivalent knowledge is desirable
