About the Role

Farrer & Co is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HRIS and Reward Professional to join our Human Resources team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of our HR strategy and ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR and Payroll Systems and Processes
    • Act as a super-user of our HR, payroll, and benefits systems, providing expert support and guidance to colleagues.
    • Manage user access and set up self-service functionality to ensure seamless user experience.
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly payroll and benefits checking, and annual benefits renewal.
    • Provide first-line support for salary and benefit-related queries.
  • HR Management Information
    • Develop and generate ad-hoc reports to support business decision-making.
    • Assist in producing monthly reports for senior management and the HR team.
    • Support the analysis of engagement and appraisal systems, and provide insights to inform HR strategy.
  • Payroll
    • Assist with monthly payroll processing, including preparation of variable input for our outsourced payroll provider.
    • Support the annual P11D process, ensuring accurate data transfer to the payroll provider.
    • Manage starters and leavers, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll and benefits.
    • Provide expert support for ad-hoc payroll queries.
  • Reward
    • Assist in preparing draft salary and bonus review information.
    • Support the preparation of salary and bonus review communications.
    • Compile draft salary benchmarking data for annual salary reviews.
    • Assist with the preparation and publication of Reward team communications.
  • Benefits
    • Prepare and upload benefit membership reports.
    • Collate and review monthly provider reports and invoices.
    • Support the annual benefits renewal project, ensuring timely and accurate processing of benefits communications.
    • Research new benefits and reward structures, including review of staff survey results.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in HRIS and payroll administration, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
  • Advanced user of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work beyond normal office hours as required.
