About the Role

Owen Reed is seeking a highly skilled HRIS Assistant to join their team in London. As a key member of the HR team, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of HR strategy and implementing HR policies, practices, and initiatives across all areas of people management.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR and Payroll Systems and Processes
    • Act as a super-user of the HR, payroll, and benefits systems, providing expert support and guidance to employees and management.
    • Manage user access and set up self-service functionality to ensure seamless HR system operations.
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly payroll and benefits checks, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
    • Support the annual benefits renewal project, including policy updates and communications.
    • Perform regular data integrity checks and data cleansing to maintain the integrity of HR and payroll data.
  • HR Management Information
    • Generate ad-hoc reports and provide data analysis to support HR initiatives and business decisions.
    • Assist in producing monthly reports for the Management Board, HR Team, and Departmental Managing Partners.
    • Support the development of HR metrics and analytics to inform business strategy.
  • Reward and Benefits
    • Assist in the preparation of salary and bonus review information, including benchmarking data and communications.
    • Support the annual salary and bonus review process, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
    • Research and recommend new benefits and reward structures to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Person Specification
    • Proven experience in HR, payroll, and benefits administration, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
    • Advanced user of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
