Key Responsibilities
  • HR and Payroll Systems and Processes
    • Act as a super-user of the HR, payroll, and benefits systems, providing expert support and guidance to employees and management.
    • Manage user access and set up self-service functionality to ensure seamless HR system operations.
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly payroll and benefits checking, and annual benefits renewal, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
    • Support the Senior Reward and Benefits Manager in the annual salary and bonus reviews, including data analysis and report preparation.
    • Perform regular data integrity checks and data cleansing of the HR and Payroll system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • HR Management Information
    • Create and generate ad-hoc reports requested by HR team members, Managing Partners, Directors, and other leaders across the firm.
    • Assist the HR Systems and MI Analyst in producing monthly reports for the Management Board, HR Team, Departmental Managing Partners, and ensuring accurate and timely presentation and distribution.
    • Support the Senior HR Systems and MI Analyst in data and analysis of the engagement and appraisal systems, and practising certificate renewal and ED&I reports to support their strategy.
  • Reward
    • Assist the Senior Reward and Benefits Manager in preparing draft salary and bonus review information, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
    • Support the Senior Reward and Benefits Manager and Senior Payroll & Reward Adviser in the preparation of salary and bonus review communications.
    • Compile draft salary benchmarking data for annual salary reviews for the Senior Payroll & Reward Adviser to review.
  • Benefits
    • Prepare and upload benefit membership reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
    • Collate and review monthly provider reports and invoices, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
    • Assist with the annual benefits renewal project, collating policies and documents, and publishing finalised benefit communications to staff throughout the year.
    Requirements
    • Highly skilled HR Assistant/Administrator with a payroll and benefits emphasis, preferably with experience in a legal or professional services environment.
    • Advanced user of MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
    • Clear speaking, listening, and written communication skills.
    • Ability to stay focused and organised, with a collaborative working style and strong customer service skills.
    • Qualified to GCSE standard, Grade C (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English is essential.
