About the Role

Farrer & Co is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reward & HRIS Assistant to join our Human Resources team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Senior Reward & Benefits Manager and Senior HR Systems and MI Analyst.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR and Payroll Systems and Processes
    • Act as a super-user of the HR, payroll, and benefits systems, providing first-line support for pay and benefits queries.
    • Manage HR system user setup and self-service.
    • Assist with monthly payroll and benefits checking, annual benefits renewal, and salary and bonus reviews.
    • Complete regular data integrity checks and data cleansing of the HR and Payroll system.
    • Support the annual Gender Pay Gap process.
  • HR Management Information
    • Create and generate ad-hoc reports for HR team members, Managing Partners, Directors, and other leaders.
    • Assist with producing monthly reports for the Management Board, HR Team, and Departmental Managing Partners.
    • Support the Senior HR Systems and MI Analyst with data analysis and reporting.
  • Payroll
    • Assist with monthly payroll processing, including preparation of variable input for the outsourced payroll provider.
    • Collate and coordinate data transfer for the annual P11D process.
    • Ensure new starter checklists and P45s are received and sent to the payroll provider.
    • Deal with ad-hoc payroll queries from employees.
  • Reward
    • Assist with preparing draft salary and bonus review information.
    • Support the Senior Reward and Benefits Manager with salary and bonus review communications.
    • Compile draft salary benchmarking data for annual salary reviews.
  • Benefits
    • Prepare and upload benefit membership reports.
    • Collate and review monthly provider reports and invoices.
    • Assist with the annual benefits renewal project.
Requirements
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Business services experience within a legal or professional services environment preferred.
  • Advanced user of MS Office applications.
  • Clear speaking, listening, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to stay focused and organized.
  • Collaborative working style with other team members.
  • Strong customer service skills.
