The Opportunity: Director of Sales

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Director of Sales to lead our New Business Development Team. You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and achieving ambitious sales targets, aligning with our company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent Kerridge Commercial Systems and its comprehensive suite of rental software solutions to potential clients.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and expand our customer base.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders within the rental industry, including trade bodies and influential decision-makers.
  • Lead a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, motivation, and mentorship to achieve exceptional results.
  • Identify and capitalize on emerging growth opportunities within the rental software market.
  • Collaborate effectively with overseas offices to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of sales efforts globally.
  • Generate qualified leads through targeted outreach and networking activities.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations, showcasing the value proposition of our innovative solutions.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Provide comprehensive monthly reporting on sales performance, key metrics, and progress towards targets.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in managing new business sales teams within the software or technology sector.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a strategic mindset for developing and implementing effective sales plans.
  • In-depth understanding of the rental industry and its unique challenges and opportunities is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and other relevant sales tools.
