Sellick Partnership is seeking to appoint a Financial Administrator for our esteemed Public Sector client located in South Yorkshire.

Role Summary:

  • Provide essential support to the finance team in delivering precise, timely, and comprehensive financial data.
  • Serve as the primary contact for standard financial inquiries.

Core Duties – Financial Administrator:

  • Compile all revenue, capital, and grant budgets in line with the established budget preparation schedule.
  • Develop routine budget documentation for the budgeting process.
  • Investigate, question, and clarify all revenue and grant, non-pay, monthly and year-to-date discrepancies.
  • Calculate all necessary accruals, prepayments, collaboration adjustments, and external charges.
  • Collect, assess, and reconcile payroll data against budgetary allocations.
  • Identify monthly and year-to-date discrepancies.
  • Generate month-end capital reports.
  • Track capital discrepancies.
  • Execute year-end responsibilities.

Candidate Profile – Financial Administrator:

  • Full member of AAT.
  • Proven experience in a financial setting.
  • Familiarity with budget management and year-end processes.
