Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Utilize Sage software to record and organize financial transactions accurately.
- Payroll and Pensions Processing: Handle payroll processing for employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- VAT Returns and CIS Reports: Generate and submit Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) reports as required.
- Bank Statement Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements and accounts to maintain accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Collaborate with the finance team to prepare financial reports.
- Effective Communication: Interact with clients and vendors regarding financial matters.
- Proven Experience: A demonstrated track record as a bookkeeper.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Sage Software (Essential).
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of payroll processing, VAT returns, and CIS reports (desirable).
- Attention to Detail: Ensure precision in financial records.
- Communication and Organizational Skills: Effective communication with team members, clients, and vendors.
- Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Transportation: Own transport preferred (or a full clean driving license) due to occasional travel to other offices (expenses will be reimbursed).
- Competitive Salary: Up to £32,000 DOE.
