Company Overview:
Our client, a prominent financial services firm in Sheffield, is on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced paraplanner to enhance their financial advisory team. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in pensions and retirement planning, with a commitment to assisting clients in achieving a secure and comfortable retirement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive financial research and analysis utilizing tools such as Selectapension and FE Analytics.
2. Prepare detailed financial reports using Genovo report writing software.
3. Review and validate information provided by administrative staff for accuracy and completeness.
4. Collaborate with the administrative team to gather any missing information and support business submissions as needed.
5. Employ the Intelliflo back office system for effective client management and record-keeping.
6. Analyze and offer recommendations for various investment options, including ISAs and general investment accounts.
7. Evaluate advisers on file notes or recommendation proposals that may not meet suitability standards.
8. Communicate with the compliance team regarding any concerns related to advice suitability.
Candidate Requirements:
Experience:
A minimum of 2-3 years in a paraplanning or related role within the financial services sector.
Qualifications:
Relevant financial planning qualifications (e.g., Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent) are preferred.
Skills:
Strong analytical and numerical abilities, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in financial planning software and tools.
Attention to Detail:
A high level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail in all work aspects.
Team Collaboration:
A cooperative mindset with the capability to work effectively within a team.
