Role Overview

The Inspired Learning Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchase Ledger Manager to join their Finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounts, reconciling systems and bank accounts, and ensuring timely payments to suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including purchase ledgers and accounts payable
  • Reconcile financial systems and bank accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Monitor and process purchase orders, ensuring invoices are received and posted in a timely manner
  • Manage and resolve any issues that may arise with suppliers or financial systems

Requirements

  • Previous experience in purchase ledger management or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Highly developed organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, including accounting and spreadsheet applications
