Job Summary

Thornbury Community Services is seeking a skilled Clinical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism to live safe and fulfilled lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism in a community-based setting.
  • Work collaboratively with our clinical team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care and medication management.
  • Support individuals to engage in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Minimum 12 months of experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism.
  • Experience in performing physical interventions and restraint training.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain confidentiality.
