About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Respiratory Physiotherapist to join our Integrated Community Respiratory Service in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment for patients presenting to the service.
  • Coordinate and lead Pulmonary Rehabilitation groups in West Cornwall.
  • Work alongside the multidisciplinary team to provide supervision and education to junior staff and colleagues.
  • Undertake research and service development as necessary.
Our Team

Our respiratory team is a multi-disciplinary specialist community team including nursing, physiotherapy, Speech and Language Therapy, dietetics, support workers, and administration.

  • We deliver specialist respiratory care and support across all settings, including community hospitals, care homes, and individuals' homes.
  • We holistically improve the respiratory health of the population by considering social factors such as fuel poverty, diet, mental health, and environmental factors.
  • We provide advice, guidance, education, and training to healthcare professionals across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
