Key Responsibilities:

The Project Analyst will play a vital role within the UK Centre of Excellence, collaborating closely with the UK Project Accounting team (responsible for project billing for confidential clients). The analyst will support designated UK Division(s). Responsible for specific project initiation tasks in Oracle, including the setup of key personnel, contract verification, and any additional Oracle project setup tasks not automatically populated from EcoSys. Assess the work breakdown structure to ensure compatibility with automated billing processes. Identify projects that qualify for automated billing based on rates or time and materials. Input necessary billing information to facilitate automated billing, utilizing details provided by the Project Manager or the contract billing schedule. Establish 'bill to addresses' at the project level. Engage in financial enhancement initiatives within AtkinsRéalis.

Note: Initially, this role will report to the Global Process Team for Order to Cash and receive support from the Global Project Accounting Team. Following the implementation of OneERP in the UK, this position will transition into the UK Centre of Excellence.

Professional & Technical Qualifications:

Experience in accounting or project controls within a substantial international organization. Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with senior management. Previous experience in a consultancy environment, particularly within engineering consultancy, is highly advantageous. Familiarity with JD Edwards and Oracle EBS is beneficial. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and manage personal workload effectively. Demonstrated ownership, motivation, and capacity to achieve results. Exceptional attention to detail. Collaborative team player with a positive outlook. Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate information and processes.

Preferred Credentials:

Recognized accounting qualification – AAT or in progress towards ACCA/CIMA.
