Job Title: Transport Administrator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic individual to join our team as a Transport Administrator at Pearson Whiffin Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our transport department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process orders generated from our Transportation Management System (TMS)
  • Liaise with other departments, including drivers, to ensure seamless operations
  • Communicate directly with customers regarding deliveries and collections
  • Update various in-house systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information
  • Maintain regular contact with subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient services
  • Process delivery paperwork and update customers on estimated time of arrivals (ETAs)
  • Provide administrative support to staff at Director level as required

Requirements:

  • Recent experience working in a similar role, preferably in a logistics or transportation environment
