Job Summary

The Leigh Academies Trust is seeking a highly motivated and organized Facilities Operations Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our Estates Team, you will be responsible for providing support to the Facilities Manager in ensuring the health and safety and security of our academy premises.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with general maintenance duties, including minor repairs and refurbishment works
  • Provide porterage services and support the Estates Team with daily operations
  • Support the Facilities Manager in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to achieve a smooth and efficient operation
  • Provide excellent customer service to staff, students, and visitors

Requirements

  • Trustworthy and reliable with a flexible approach to working hours and duties
  • Physically fit and able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Good DIY skills and knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Basic IT skills and an understanding of safeguarding
