Position Overview:

BH Live is seeking a dedicated Bar and Café Manager to oversee our hospitality operations at BH Live Active Littledown. This role is crucial for managing our vibrant hospitality areas, which include a bar, café, and an outdoor dining venue known for its lively atmosphere.

The Lookout Bar offers a unique outdoor experience featuring live music and a rustic dining environment, complemented by colorful beach hut booths and lush greenery. The venue is open daily, providing a delightful setting for food and drinks.

As the Bar and Café Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our hospitality services, driving innovative ideas to elevate our catering offerings, and ensuring a memorable experience for our visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a hospitality team, managing the daily operations of all food and beverage areas.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels and oversee recruitment, training, and retention of team members.
  • Maintain high food safety standards and ensure exceptional customer service is delivered consistently.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and licensing laws, ensuring compliance at all times.
  • Manage budgets effectively, overseeing inventory and stock levels to ensure efficient operations.
  • Uphold the organization's values and standards in all aspects of service delivery.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Proven experience in managing a bar or hospitality venue with strong business acumen.
  • Possession of a personal license to sell alcohol and a Level 3 food safety qualification.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to introduce fresh ideas to enhance our hospitality and events.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, aligned with operational needs.
