**A Day in the Life of Our Head Chef**

As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing and developing smooth kitchen operations, focusing on quality, presentation, and maximizing profit and cost margins. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • **Menu Planning**: Develop menus that meet quality and cost standards.

**Requirements**

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • **City & Guilds 706/1 | 706/2 Catering**: Hold a recognized culinary qualification.
  • **NVQ Level 3**: Possess a relevant vocational qualification.
  • **Food Safety Level 2 or 3**: Hold a recognized food safety certification.
  • **Experience**: Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a hotel or hospitality venue.
  • **Interpersonal Skills**: Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record of developing high-performing teams.
