Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our staff.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Advice: Conduct comprehensive assessments of employee fitness to work, providing expert advice on health and safety matters.
  • Health Promotion and Protection: Develop and implement health promotion initiatives, protecting employee health at work and promoting a culture of wellbeing.
  • Disability Support: Provide specialized advice and support to individuals with disabilities, ensuring equal access to employment opportunities.
  • Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs on health and safety, occupational health, and wellbeing.
  • Quality Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing development of our Occupational Health Service, identifying areas for improvement and implementing quality initiatives.
Requirements
  • Education and Qualifications: Registered General Nurse, Occupational Health Nurse Certificate/Diploma, or BSc in Occupational Health related subject.
  • Experience: Proven experience in occupational health, health promotion, and disability support, with a strong understanding of health and safety legislation.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
