Key Responsibilities:- Elevate scalable event initiatives throughout EMEA
- Oversee event projects from inception to completion, including strategic planning, objective setting, budget oversight, project organization, stakeholder engagement, execution, outcome tracking, and post-event analysis
- Tailor global event initiatives to meet local needs

- Supervise event agencies and vendors

The EMEA Events & Sponsorship Team comprises dedicated event, program, and sponsorship professionals recognized for delivering exceptional event strategies, planning, enablement, and execution for AWS events and third-party trade exhibitions. We prioritize our customers both externally and internally, driving innovation and making a significant impact while enjoying the process.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline
- 3-5 years of experience in an event-related capacity
- Proven experience in developing, managing, and executing successful B2B event initiatives from start to finish
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative mindset with problem-solving capabilities and comfort with uncertainty
- Prior experience collaborating with cross-functional and international teams
- Proficiency in utilizing data and metrics for measuring impact and driving improvements
- Willingness to travel, work independently across time zones, and shift between creative ideation and process execution
- Ability to influence effectively without direct authority
- Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Experience in a global technology organization
- Familiarity with managing events similar to AWS Summits, AWS Cloud Days, and AWS re:Invent
- Experience in creating innovative brand presence at major B2B trade exhibitions
