Job Description

Forte Legal, a leading provider of legal services, is seeking an experienced Data Protection Compliance Paralegal to support their growing finance business. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 to 18 months of data privacy experience and be able to start immediately.

This role is based in London and will run for 6 months initially, with a possibility of extension subject to project progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide support on data protection compliance matters, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  2. Assist in the development and implementation of data privacy policies, aligning with industry best practices.
  3. Conduct thorough data protection impact assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  4. Support with training and awareness initiatives to educate employees on data protection best practices.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. 12 to 18 months of data privacy experience, with a strong understanding of data protection regulations.
  2. Ability to start immediately and commit to the project for an initial 6-month period.
  3. Foreign qualified lawyers with extensive data privacy experience will also be considered.
