Your Responsibilities...

As a Warehouse Operations Strategist, your careful planning and coordination will be essential for the effective functioning of our warehouse, impacting service levels and budget management. Your contributions will drive process enhancements and support both local and international teams. By managing training needs, participating in financial discussions, and leveraging data for strategic planning, you will play a key role in the efficiency and success of our distribution network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate weekly operational plans and expectations to shifts.
  • Align daily and weekly workload with service and budget objectives.
  • Coordinate training for new hires and upskill current staff.
  • Engage with agency providers regarding training needs.
  • Participate in weekly financial meetings to review expenditures.
  • Identify and implement operational improvements.
  • Support site projects and use historical data for trend analysis.
  • Collaborate with international teams to align with planning.
  • Utilise efficiency tools to enhance site performance.
  • Manage databases and ensure adequate equipment availability.
  • Extract data using warehouse management software.
  • Work with counterparts at other sites to ensure compliance.
  • Act as a substitute for the Warehouse Operations Manager when necessary.
Required Skills and Knowledge...
  • Outstanding organisational abilities.
  • Proficient in ICT, especially Excel.
  • Strong skills in creating presentations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Solid numerical skills.
