Hours: 8:30-3:30pm

Rate: £95+

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at TeacherActive. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to pupils with special educational needs in a SEND school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to pupils with SEN, promoting their academic and personal development
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons, ensuring a tailored approach to meet the needs of each pupil
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment, adhering to school policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Experience working with SEN pupils in a school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
