Accounts Payable Clerk

A dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk is needed to join our team at Page Personnel Finance. As a key member of our Accounting & Finance department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.
Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to process invoices, reconcile purchasing orders, and manage supplier queries. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in Accounting or a related field and proficient skills in MS Office, particularly Excel. If you are a team player with excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:- Process invoices and reconcile purchasing orders in a timely and accurate manner
- Manage supplier queries and build strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure month-end deadlines are met
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly reports
- Improve payment processes and contribute to the implementation of new systems
- Assist in annual audits and ensure compliance with all company policies and retail industry regulations
- A strong educational background in Accounting or a related field
- Proficient skills in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- A track record of working effectively within a team
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines
