Role Overview
The Product Marketing Manager is crucial in bringing our products and services to the marketplace. This role involves designing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our offerings, articulate our solutions, and strengthen our brand presence. Focusing on specific product categories and market sectors, you will work closely with product management and sales teams to create compelling brand narratives. As our product lineup continues to evolve, orchestrating effective product launches for long-term commercial success is a primary responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers to develop and disseminate external communications regarding new industry offerings, highlighting essential selling points and customer advantages.
- Design, execute, and oversee product marketing initiatives, including launches, events, thought leadership, and public relations efforts.
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive campaign calendar and related activities, ensuring alignment with sales and product teams.
- Supervise the development of sales materials and collateral, prioritizing tasks with sales and product teams while overseeing content marketing deliverables.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to guarantee successful participation in campaigns.
- Drive thought leadership projects to position OpSec within product markets and align with prevailing industry trends.
Required Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in brand or product marketing, demonstrating strong foundational marketing skills.
- Experience in B2B environments, particularly within brand services.
- Proficient in project management, budgeting, and effective communication with stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to collaborate across various functions.
- Strategic mindset capable of formulating clear propositions and messaging.
- Familiarity with events, digital marketing, and the creation of marketing collateral.
- Experience collaborating with internal creative teams and external agencies.
Educational Qualifications
- A degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- Preference for familiarity with Pragmatic Marketing frameworks.
- Relevant certifications in project management or marketing communications are advantageous.
