Job Title: Sales Director - Wholesale & Discounters

Job Summary:

Alexander Steele Recruitment is seeking an experienced Sales Director to join our client's team as an Account Manager, focusing on the Wholesale & Discounters channel. This is an exciting opportunity to develop existing accounts and win new business, working closely with product, category, and brand teams to build insight-led proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive growth in the Wholesale & Discounters channel.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, identifying and realizing opportunities to increase distribution points and RoS of the brand's products.
  • Work cross-functionally to develop a differentiated product, pack, and promotional marketing strategy for the Wholesale & Discounters channel.
  • Build and maintain a volume and net sales forecast, analyzing sales data and sharing insights and recommendations with the wider team.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in sales or account management.
  • Analytical thinker who uses data to inform decision-making.
  • Creative problem solver who considers multiple angles and asks what would need to be true to make things happen.
  • Commercial acumen, able and comfortable managing a full P&L.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of £55k - £65k, dependent on experience, plus bonus and benefits.
  • A hybrid working arrangement, with 2-3 days per week in the office (London area).
