Job Summary

The University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced neurosurgeon to join our team as a consultant cranial neurosurgeon. The successful candidate will be fully competent in neurosurgery and neurotrauma surgery, with a strong track record of clinical development and expertise.

Main Duties

The post is based at the Neurosurgery department at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. The successful candidate will be fully involved in neurosurgical services and will participate as a leading member of the multidisciplinary team for the assessment, management, and follow-up of patients with neurosurgery conditions (cranial). The appointed candidate will be expected to perform on-call emergency and urgent neurosurgical work and participate in the neurotrauma service.
