Role Responsibilities

As a Unit Manager at Exemplar Health Care, you will be pivotal in delivering clinical care for residents within your designated unit.

Your daily responsibilities will encompass:

  • Leading your unit's nursing and care teams to ensure comprehensive support for the medical, physical, and emotional needs of residents.
  • Providing strong leadership to uphold and continuously enhance care standards while driving ongoing improvements.
  • Overseeing all clinical aspects and risk management within your unit.
  • Ensuring that care plans and risk assessments are completed and reviewed promptly, accurately reflecting care interventions.
  • Acting as the Named Nurse for assigned residents, responsible for the oversight and updates of their care profiles.
  • Supervising the management of medication ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording, and disposal within your unit.

To qualify for this role, candidates must hold a first-level nursing registration with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN.

As this is a managerial position, candidates should have post-registration experience and/or relevant management training or qualifications. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse aspiring to advance into management.
