Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Care Unit Leader, you will be instrumental in delivering clinical care for residents within your designated unit. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Leading your unit's nursing and care teams to meet the comprehensive medical, physical, and emotional needs of residents.
  • Providing strong leadership to uphold and continuously enhance care standards while driving ongoing improvements.
  • Overseeing and managing all clinical aspects and risks associated with your unit.
  • Ensuring that care plans and risk assessments are completed and reviewed promptly, accurately reflecting care interventions.
  • Acting as the Named Nurse for assigned residents, responsible for the oversight and updates of their care profiles.
  • Supervising the management of medication processes within your unit, including ordering, handling, storage, administration, and disposal.
Candidate Profile

You will be a natural leader, capable of managing a team of Registered Nurses, Nurse Associates, and Health Care Assistants.

Essential qualifications include:

  • A comprehensive understanding of best practices in nursing care.

  • The ability to work independently and confidently.
  • Proficient digital skills.

To qualify for this position, you must possess a first-level nursing registration with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN.

As this is a leadership role, prior management or supervisory experience and/or relevant training or qualifications are required. This position is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse aspiring to advance into management.
