In this position, you will operate at a senior level, collaborating closely with the Clinical Nurse Manager to oversee a dedicated team of nursing and care professionals, uphold quality standards, and ensure excellence in care delivery on your unit.

Role Responsibilities

As a Unit Leader with Exemplar Health Care, you will be at the forefront of clinical care for residents within your designated unit.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Leading your unit's nursing and care teams to ensure the medical, physical, and emotional needs of residents are met.
  • Providing strong leadership to uphold and continuously enhance high standards of care.
  • Overseeing and managing all clinical aspects and risks associated with your unit.
  • Ensuring that care plans and risk assessments are completed and reviewed promptly, accurately reflecting care interventions.
  • Acting as the Named Nurse for assigned residents, responsible for the oversight and updates of their care profiles.
  • Supervising the ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording, and disposal of medications within your unit.

You will be a natural leader, capable of managing a team of Registered Nurses, Nurse Associates, and Health Care Assistants.

To qualify for this position, you must hold a first-level nursing registration with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN.

As this is a managerial role, post-registration experience in management or supervisory positions is essential. This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse aspiring to advance into management.
