We are seeking a dedicated nursing professional to take on the pivotal role of Unit Manager at Edgewater Care Home.

Role Responsibilities

As a Unit Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing clinical care delivery for residents within your unit. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Leading your nursing and care teams to ensure the holistic needs of residents are met.
  • Providing effective leadership to uphold and enhance care standards.
  • Managing all clinical aspects and risks associated with your unit.
  • Ensuring timely completion and review of care plans and risk assessments.
  • Acting as the Named Nurse for assigned residents, overseeing their care profiles.
  • Supervising the management of medication processes within your unit.

  • The ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Proficient digital skills.

To qualify for this position, you must hold a first-level nursing registration with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN.

As this is a managerial role, prior management or supervisory experience and/or relevant training or qualifications are essential. This position is ideal for a Registered Nurse looking to advance into a leadership role.
