About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Night Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to a woman with cerebral palsy within her own home environment. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure her safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive and responsive care during waking night hours, ensuring the client's needs are met promptly and effectively.
  • Assist with personal care tasks as required, demonstrating respect for her dignity and privacy.
  • Support the client in maintaining a comfortable and safe living environment.
  • Collaborate with family members and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to care.
  • Document all care activities accurately and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in providing support to individuals with disabilities, particularly those with cerebral palsy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and empathetic approach.
  • Physical ability to assist with moving and handling tasks safely and effectively.
  • A valid UK driving license and willingness to drive the client's Motability vehicle.
  • Commitment to upholding professional boundaries and ethical standards.
