Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to provide support to a young child with a disability living in the Crook area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the child to access the community and participate in activities
  • Provide personal care, including getting the child up from bed, dressed, and ready for school
  • Assist with feeding and showering
  • Transport the child to and from activities

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with disabilities is not essential, as training will be provided
  • A driver's license and access to a car would be preferred, but not essential
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure will be required, and the cost will be covered by the employer

Working Hours and Pay:

  • 6 hours per week on a Saturday or Sunday, with the option to discuss and arrange alternative hours
  • Additional hours available during school holidays and to cover other workers' holidays/sickness
  • £12.00 per hour
