Support Worker for Young Child

About the Role
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to provide invaluable assistance to a young child with a disability residing in the Crook area. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a child, supporting their development and well-being.
Hours & Compensation
This position involves 6 hours per week on either Saturday or Sunday, with the possibility of adjusting the schedule based on your availability. During school holidays, an additional 9 hours per week are available for each employee. There is also potential for up to 10 hours per week during the school term to cover colleagues' absences.
The hourly rate is £12.00.
Key Responsibilities
- Accompany the child on outings and activities, fostering their engagement with the community.
- Provide personal care assistance, including assisting with getting dressed and ready for school in the morning and supporting with feeding and showering in the evening.
Essential Requirements
- A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their well-being.
- While experience is not mandatory, a willingness to learn and receive training is essential.
- A valid driving license and access to a car are preferred but not strictly required.
Additional Information
An enhanced DBS disclosure will be required for this role, and the employer will cover the associated costs.
