Clinical Support Worker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Leonard Cheshire. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care and support to our customers with physical disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care and support to customers in accordance with their Person Centred Plans.
- Order and administer medication, ensuring safe storage and accurate record-keeping.
- Lead a team of support staff, prioritizing and planning tasks to ensure smooth and efficient management of the shift.
- Support ongoing assessments, observing changes in health and well-being, and maintaining accurate records.
- Ensure a safe and caring environment for customers, supporting with physical care, personal hygiene needs, and daily tasks.
Requirements:
- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Thorough knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse (level 5).
- Understanding of the NMC code of conduct and relevant practice standards and guidance.
- Effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures.
- Flexibility to work rostered hours and on-call rota as required.
